Olive is always unlucky: in her career, in love, in…well, everything. Her identical twin sister Ami, on the other hand, is probably the luckiest person in the world. Her meet-cute with her fiancé is something out of a romantic comedy (gag) and she’s managed to finance her entire wedding by winning a series of Internet contests (double gag). Worst of all, she’s forcing Olive to spend the day with her sworn enemy, Ethan, who just happens to be the best man.

Worst of all, she’s forcing Olive to spend the day with her sworn enemy, Ethan, who just happens to be the best man.
Olive braces herself to get through 24 hours of wedding hell before she can return to her comfortable, unlucky life. But when the entire wedding party gets food poisoning from eating bad shellfish, the only people who aren’t affected are Olive and Ethan. And now there’s an all-expenses-paid honeymoon in Hawaii up for grabs.
Putting their mutual hatred aside for the sake of a free vacation, Olive and Ethan head for paradise, determined to avoid each other at all costs. But when Olive runs into her future boss, the little white lie she tells him is suddenly at risk to become a whole lot bigger. She and Ethan now have to pretend to be loving newlyweds, and her luck seems worse than ever. But the weird thing is that she doesn’t mind playing pretend. In fact, she feels kind of… lucky.
THIS STORY MADE ME SO DARN HAPPY! ————————— pre-reading preview. This sounds disastrous and hilarious. Warda rated it: 5.0 from 5.0
A fun and delightful escape read! Just what I needed…. After a few emotional reads, this proved to be just what I needed for a bit of an escape to Maui with two sweet, witty characters. I fell in love with them and wanted to continue reading their story every night when I was unwinding from a stress filled day. I’m a huge fan of stories themes involving vacation spots, weddings, twins and frenemies to romance! Nothing is complicated here, just a free vacay for me. What is not to love? A vacation that has mishaps that made me smile, some sweet heat and cocktails, and a huge smile when I closed the book. Looking for a light, fun, FIVE star sweet romance? Loved this one. Out May 14,2019. Thanks Gallery for my review copy! Holly B rated it: 5.0 from 5.0
This is a Romance/Women’s Fiction/Chick-Lit. I think most people know what this book is about, so I am not going to add that to my review. I loved the characters in this book because they are fun and very developed. This book is well-written and fun to read. Christina Lauren is becoming one of my favorite authors, and I just now pick up their new books. This is a great summer read. Tina rated it: 5.0 from 5.0
