This spectacular pause-resisting novel is part war story, part love letter to small-town America and the people who live there, and it features one of the most compelling and surprising duos in King fiction, who set out to avenge the crimes of an extraordinarily evil man. It’s about love, luck, fate, and a complex hero with one last shot at redemption.
First of all, Thank you Paul Sparks for the enthusiastic read, the jumping from tone to tone, everything. Now, I don’t wanna spoil anything, I just wanna say when will the adaptation get started already !!! Mind-blowing, extremely exciting story, Thank you Stephen King for this MASTERPIECE. Wow! Definitely one of King’s best!! Excellent storyline, brilliant execution. Even the ending is good. I loved it! Megan Graves rated it: 5.0 from 5.0
Some of my favorite books of Stephen King are the non-spooky ones, like 11.22.63, The Green Mile, The Body… Billy Summers is now at the top of the list. I finished this book earlier today and I still can’t get it out of my head. That ending… So completely satisfying. The character of Billy Summers is truly one of the best anti-heroes I’ve seen. I spent the weekend devouring this tome and loved every bit of it. Karen’s Library rated it: 5.0 from 5.0
