This widely acclaimed best seller, in which Malcolm Gladwell explores and brilliantly illuminates the tipping point phenomenon, is already changing the way people throughout the world think about selling products and disseminating ideas.
It has a number of eye openers and will broaden one’s vision to see how little things matter so much. A combination of lucid explanation with vivid (and often funny) real-world examples, the book sets out to explain nothing less than why human beings behave the way they do. Really good book. He talks about why Paul Revere’s ride was so successful, why Hush Puppy shoes took off, why suicides and school shootings seem to go in groups, why word of mouth is so successful why you talk to the right people. Minor alternations can make a product or social situation tip (which means expands greatly) to be popular. The growth of Sesame Street and Blue Clues entertain and teach children. All sorts of interesting stuff. I want to read the rest of his books Ron Wroblewski                                           rated it: 5.0 from 5.0
We don’t think about little things that are happening in our lives because there are too many other things to think about. Gladwell give a fresh look at why some things become trend and others don’t. He zooms in on microscopic people, aspects and conditions that spread those trends. It was fascinating read full of detailed examples. In a nutshell, it’s not just a book it’s a place where unexpected becomes expected. Iqra                                                    rated it: 5.0 from 5.0
