I’ll tell you right now… you’ve never read a mystery like this one! Finlay Donovan Is Killing It. Is she ever, ha ha ha! When Finlay is accidentally mistaken for a contract killer things get all kinds of crazy. Well, that and absolutely hilarious. The events that take place are so ridiculous you need to read this book to believe it. Soooo many situations take place that had me laughing out loud – especially the garage scene. OMG! Haaaa! I really enjoyed Elle Cosimanos writing. The characters are extremely well written and the storyline is SO much fun!! A very original plot that is so refreshing. You won’t be able to put this book down. I definitely require more Finlay Donovan in my life!! – and that ending hints at this happening, so YAY! I freaking LOVEDDDD this book!! I devoured Finlay Donovan in one sitting, and found myself both laughing out loud and gritting my teeth at all the shenanigans that suburban Mom Finlay finds herself in. It was such a fun mystery paired with a sweet female friendship and I can’t wait for the second book. It’s definitely going down as a contender for my five star fave for February! I freaking loved this book! I can’t remember when I enjoyed a character more than Finlay Donovan. The relationship between Finlay and Vero is a perfect mix of Lucy and Ethel meets Thelma and Louise. This highly suspenseful story is peppered with laughs, adding the perfect dash of humor to a character driven twisty tale. I loved getting to know Finlay and coming along for the ride!
